Black Friday might just be one of the most interesting days in all of retail. This is when brands cash in all of the leverage they've built up with you, all bets are off, and Right Hooks (straightforward asks for your business) rule the roost. For this set of studies, I decided to specifically focus on Twitter. (PS. If you haven't read them yet, be sure to check out my content critiques on Thanksgiving content, and on content leading up to Black Friday).

KOHL'S: 3rd-and-a-half Base

This is a really cute thought, but it's suffering from a major lack of execution. I want to be clear when I say that not everybody has to include a twitpic (new twitter cards layout) all the time, but if you look at the landscape of other content that I'm featuring here, you have to acknowledge that baseline has been lifted ever since in-stream images became a thing.Read the rest HERE
