When I listed my status as single, I got all the dating service ads. Then I moved it to "it's complicated" the dating ads stopped, but the ads seemed to pull from other content on my page. For example, I wrote about a trek to Whitney with my kids and displayed photos. Then I started to get ads from REI. A little too big brotherish, in my opinion.
